Job Responsibilities
1. Agency Development
- Recruit, onboard, and activate insurance advisors/agents as per business targets
- Build and maintain a strong distribution network through continuous hiring
- Ensure proper licensing and IRDAI compliance for new agents
2. Sales & Business Generation
- Drive life insurance sales through the agency channel
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual premium targets (APE/NB)
- Support agents in lead generation, prospecting, and closures
3. Agent Productivity Management
- Monitor agent performance and productivity metrics
- Motivate and guide agents to improve sales output
- Conduct regular one-on-one reviews with agents
4. Training & Capability Building
- Conduct field training and joint sales calls with agents
- Facilitate product, process, and sales skill training sessions
- Mentor new agents to ensure early-stage productivity
5. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Ensure quality customer acquisition through agents
- Maintain high persistency and renewal ratios
- Address customer queries and support agents in service delivery
6. Business Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to regulatory and company compliance norms (IRDAI guidelines)
- Ensure proper documentation and KYC compliance
- Focus on quality business with low early claims and high persistency
7. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, products, and market trends
- Provide inputs to management for better strategies
8. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and activity trackers
- Update CRM systems with accurate sales and agent data
- Track pipeline and business forecast regularly
9. Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, operations, training)
- Participate in branch-level initiatives and campaigns
